Oranges, reds, yellows, greens, black, wine, and even shades of pink are just some of the gorgeous autumnal colors nature creates for us to enjoy. This post is all about sharing some of these standout colors that I like to call eye candy because they evoke a pop of sweet joy when I wear them and see them.

A black dress can certainly be appropriate for Fall especially when it has a print as beautiful as this one with orangey-reds and turquoise blue-green. This dress is the Trixie Midnight Lily Swing Dress from Collectif Clothing in the UK. The dress is made from high quality cotton sateen and has a lovely sweetheart neckline and fitted waist for the 1940s-1950s bombshell look I love. The sleeves are ¾ and perfect for Fall time here in San Francisco.

My feline friendly outfit is another Fall favorite of mine. I love novelty prints and the border print on this skirt has the most adorable kitty cats. The skirt started off as a dress that ended up being too small and wouldn’t go over my chest so I had a seamstress convert it into a skirt for me and now I can wear it often. I like the green color of the skirt and paired it here with a bright orange sweater, leopard print purse and dark brown cardigan and I feel like I am wearing several autumnal colors in one outfit!!

Fall Fashion Pinup Girl Style

Yasmina Greco – Fall Pinup Girl Outfits

Welcoming Fall Pinup style. Here’s a look at my recent outfits and I think you’ll agree they are perfect for Fall. I love my Pinup Girl Birdie dress in turquoise blue with big yellow Fall florals and of course my Heart of Haute yellow/orange floral Aimee dress which screams Fall!! It is even starting to get chilly here in beautiful wine country California and I’ve had to pull out my nautical Pinup Kiera swing coat from Collectif Clothing. My Bernie Dexter ‘Happy Hour‘ dress too has lovely Fall colors of oranges and green and is so much fun to wear. Some of my favorite novelty print swing skirts too are perfect for Fall and I have been wearing my Deadly Dames Darling Dames Skirt in Venus Fly Trap print from Pinup Girl Clothing and of course my Poodle skirt from Dangerfield.

Fall Fashion Pinup Girl Style

Finally, the perfect Fall Pinup Girl dress is mine!! I was so excited when the Aimee Dress in Sunshine Daisy print arrived from Heart of Haute.The print grabbed me right away with those daisies in fabulous pops of bright colors and I immediately knew this would be my go-to Fall dress. The colors are perfect in shades of orange, yellow and green against a black backdrop. I want to call your attention to the cut and style of the Heart of Haute Aimee with its gathered sweetheart bodice, form fitting darts, A line skirt and hidden back zipper that is complete with a matching belt. I absolutely love the way the Heart of Haute Aimee fits my curves, especially my bust giving such a nice shape. I am wearing the Aimee in a size 1X to accommodate my bust and the waist has quite a bit of room so it is very nice the dress comes with an attached tie belt.

The dress is 100% cotton and very comfortable. A perfect dress to take you from 9-5pm and 5-9pm. As the weather cools a bit adding a cardigan or a Heart of Haute Sweet Sweater will be perfect and just think of all the color combinations you can do. Heart of Haute makes beautiful clothes and the Aimee is very well done with a feminine silhouette. I want all the Aimee’s, they do come in many different colors and prints. I am so sad to have missed out on the Tulip print Aimee but it sold out so quickly in my size, I won’t be making that mistake again!!
