We can all use some sweet love these days and I am really excited to share with you our new Valentine’s Day sweet heart designs. My favorite is the bluebird or lovebirds as they are reminiscent of a 1950s vintage valentine card and has the words “Be My Tweet Heart” that is perfect for the vintage collector or Pinup Girl. We also have our pretty lady with her “Love Letters” and she has her cute little puppy dog (my Luna) sitting next to her with a stamp so she can mail that letter to her love. Our Love Letters tee is available in pink or white and our Be My Tweet Heart tee comes in candy pink. We remain size inclusive and our designs are available in Small-4XL and ready to ship, just in time for Valentine’s Day!!
Pinup Girl Clothing has outdone themselves again with this beautiful Pinup Couture dress called the Swan Dress in mustard floral. The style reminds me of a glamorous 60s silhouette with the bishop sleeves and peasant top and this one is so good!!
The fabric on this dress is incredible; nice weight stretch crepe and it does not wrinkle!! The bodice is cut close to the body and the A line skirt is incredibly figure flattering for all body types. Being on the curvy side I am wearing my standard 2X size from Pinup Girl Clothing and the dress hugs me in all the right places. The peasant top accommodates a larger bust beautifully. You can wear the dress on the shoulder or off the shoulder very easily and it never feels like it will slip down. The dress is very well made and you cannot only see how high the quality is but when you wear it you can see how it fits every curve perfectly.
The Pumpkin Princess tee is so cute!! Very lightweight and 100% cotton, perfect for everyday wear and, isn’t everyday really Halloween these days! And, why not enjoy your swamp love with this fabulous Creature from the Black Lagoon tee that just screams creature romance!!

I am so excited to share with you all the newest addition to our mid-century modern family, our 1956 Nash Metropolitan!! My hubby Gary and I are over the moon excited with this adorable micro car that couldn’t be more perfect for two people (and their cute puppy dog). The fabulous turquoise blue color of Berkshire green just screams let the good times roll.
The story behind our Nash Metropolitan is quite endearing and it puts a smile on my face when I think about it. Our Metro came from Oregon where it was put on a truck and driven down to a well-known Nash Metropolitan restorer in southern California. It belonged to a husband and wife who were Nash Metropolitan enthusiasts and their grown children were selling it as it had sat out in the fields for years since their folks had grown older. Fun fact is that the Nash Metropolitan is also known as the “clown car” because it looks so zany and small and their parents had actually attended the local clown college and drove around in their Metro’s dressed as clowns. Isn’t that wild!! It must have been a real hoot to see them!! The mom even had a convertible Nash Metropolitan for years and her husband purchased the hardtop for her but she never really drove it because she enjoyed the convertible so much.[Read more…]
Memorial Day weekend was a scorcher here in California. We were excited for the sunshine and the opportunity to go outside and shoot some photos of this gorgeous dress – Heidi Vintage Style A-Line Dress in Black and White Floral by Pinup Couture. This is the perfect summer dress and would be so pretty to wear to dinner or even a wedding.
My hubby Gary and I drove up to a local wine country town that is usually a tourist destination especially for holidays unsure if we would be able to take photos. We had our masks, were distancing and sanitizer was in our bag. The town wasn’t too busy as nearly all shops and restaurants are still closed and folks are staying home. The park had a good amount of folks picnicking and enjoying being outside with friends. Everyone was social distancing and we felt comfortable walking around and enjoying the day.
