Recently eShakti reached out for a collaboration and I was excited, as they are not typically known for their vintage or retro clothing styles I tend to wear and thought it was a great opportunity to try a new brand. Sizes range from 0 XS – 6X 36!!
I love this time of year when the sun is shining, flowers are blooming and the world is colorful and nature is buzzing. We found this fabulous spot blooming with wisteria and stopped for some photos. I am wearing my new favorite dress, a smashing pastel rainbow beauty dress that has the retro kitschy Pinup style I adore from Collectif London. The dress is so pretty and I love the sweetheart neckline, it has pockets, and fits my curves perfectly. I kept the styling simple, as I wanted the dress and the wisteria to be showstoppers. I added my Heart of Haute Sweet Sweater in pink and my vintage 1950s pink poodle purse.
To me Gnomes have almost a fairytale like charm to them; they are mysterious, mischievous, and adorable. When I first laid eyes on this Gnome print dress from the latest collaboration between vintage inspired Collectif Clothing UK and ModCloth it seemed like the perfect novelty print match and I was so excited to get this Collectif x MC Copacetic Charm Midi Dress in Gnomes on my body.
It has been a very busy couple of weeks with lots of shopping and holiday preparations. We spent an afternoon in Petaluma this past weekend shopping and enjoying the season. We shopped, had lunch and Christmas coffee too. I like dressing up but still being comfortable for holiday activities and today I am wearing my Lyra dress from Lady Voluptuous. I love the colors and print on this dress with bright florals and the fit… It is a wrap and you all know that is my go-to style, it is flattering for all shapes but I find it especially fits perfectly on my curves. It was not very cold so I added a cropped cardigan in a complimentary color and off we went.
Lady V London has done it again with the perfect dress for curvy gals – the Eva. I was so excited when I first saw this new style released a couple weeks ago and could not wait to style it. Lady V’s Lyra wrap dress is my wardrobe staple and I have one in every color and print because a wrap style dress is a busty gals best friend. The Eva has a crossover neckline or faux wrap as I refer to it and that got my attention. Also, the beautiful Birds in Paradise print with touches of teal blue and pink would make it a breeze to accessorize with cardigans and petticoats. I could not wait for my Eva to arrive.
Today on the blog I wanted to share with you the Marie dress from Heart of Haute which is perfect for curves and all seasons. Heart of Haute has such a great selection of curvy fashion and curvy dresses. I am wearing the Marie in Teal Dragonfly print and have been rocking this fabulous frock since February. The dress is not only perfect for late Winter but also for Spring and Summer and depending where you live I think you can wear it well into early Autumn. I am wearing the Marie in my standard 2X size and I think you will agree that it fits my curves to perfection. The dress is so light and comfortable too!!
