We celebrate the beautiful bluebird as a symbol of love, hope and happiness. Let’s make the bluebird our motivation for this Monday!
For today’s Motivation Monday post we are going a little back-in-time, or how about 46 years back in time to when Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin took a giant leap for mankind when they landed on the moon back back on July 20, 1969, on the Apollo 11 moon landing mission.
What many don’t know is that it was a woman named Margaret Hamilton who was one of the software engineers that helped get us to the moon. Margaret was a forward thinking woman!! She was part of an exclusive MIT team that was working with NASA on the landing functions of the spacecraft. Can you imagine what it must have been like back in 1969 for a woman to be working on a project so high-profile as this? Back in the 60’s women couldn’t event get loans without their husbands approval signatures!
Does this not inspire and motivate you? What are your dreams? Are you working to make these dreams come true? We are living in amazing times where science and technology are providing us with so much knowledge and imagination that really, as long as we keep moving forward, working on our dreams and goals, nothing is unattainable!! Keep believing you can do it, agree that you can achieve it, and always, Dream Bigger!!
