The perfect dress for Spring is here!! Let me tell you all about the stunning Donna dress in Vintage Rose Sage print from the fabulous brand Heart of Haute. The first thing you notice about the Donna is the beautiful Vintage Rose Print with a soft blue background and delicate pink roses. The Donna is a wrap dress so I knew without a doubt it would work on my curvy body and fit my bust area. The fabric is a very fine sweater knit fabric and it has a good amount of stretch. I typically wear a size 2XL and I am wearing the Donna in a 1XL because of the amount of stretch.
Here are some of my favorite outfits that can go well for the 4th of July. I wear a lot of Red, White, and Blue through the year and I know a lot of you do too so, why not mix and match what you already have for that perfectly Pinup and retro patriotic outfit for Independence Day.
In my blog post opening picture I styled a really fun outfit for the 4th of July!! The skirt is from Unique Vintage and it is the 1950s High Waist Stars & Stripes Flag Swing Skirt. This skirt is really a show-stopper!! I paired it with my white Doris top from Pinup Girl Clothing and dded a pop of red with my necklace from Splendette. I really love this look and will be wearing on the 4th!!
This last group for my 4th of July outfit round up again features all red, white, and blue themed goodies. For some of you it is chilly this time of year so this nautical inspired coat from Collectif Clothing is terrific when paired with a red top. A fun outfit is this out-of-the-world dress from Pigtails and Pirates featuring a space theme and the pops of color work perfectly for the 4ht of July. Again, polka dots by Hellbunny in white/blue and one of my faves here is this nautical inspired patriotic pinup picture that is all sorts of red, white, blue, with my cherry red top and nautical skirt from Retrospec’d.
There you have it, my 4th of July outfit round up. I’d love to hear from you all and see what you are wearing this 4th of July so send me a note or tag me on social media – @crazy4me

I’ve been getting asked a lot what a work appropriate top is that has Pinup Rockabilly style since the many options on the market can be a little too cleavage reveling to wear to the office. So, I decided to post my review of the fabulous Estelle blouse by Heart of Haute and the top I am reviewing is in the Atomic Cat print.
First off, let’s talk about the style. The silhouette is dynamite!! Short sleeve with great shape, classic cut to flatter your curves, gathers along the shoulder and a higher neckline compliment with a perfect pussy bow for ultra feminine flair. There is no other blouse that is more conservative yet feminine and flatters a large bust or small bust equally. Because of the feminine cut, the blouse doesn’t have pulling between buttons so rest assured, there will be no buttons popping open. The blouse is incredibly comfortable, doesn’t wrinkle easily and makes you feel confident, gorgeous, and ready to take charge of a meeting, close a big deal, and handle those irate customers all in classic Pinup style.
The Estelle blouse from Heart of Haute pairs perfectly with swing skirts or pencil skirts and even wide leg trousers. The Estelle is so versatile. This blouse is a staple in my work wardrobe and the fabulous gals at Heart of Haute keep coming out with new prints and even sleeveless styles so you can toss on a sweet cardigan if the office gets a little chilly. I definitely will be adding many more Estelle’s to my collection. These tops tend to sell out quickly so hurry and get yours while sizes last!!
UPDATE: Top Vintage Retro Boutique also has this one in stock-
Only 17 days till Christmas!! Is it just me, or, does it seem like Christmas is coming faster this year? Or, maybe the days are just going by so much quicker? We have our vintage tinsel tree up, yay!! We hung a wreath on the front door (same wreath I had custom made for my Pinup photoshoot that I love so much). I spent last weekend making mama Greco’s beloved scramble… a real 1950s/1960s party mix that has different cereals, nuts, pretzels and spices and it bakes in the oven for several hours needing a careful stir every 15 mins so it does not burn and being careful not to crush or break the ingredients. It is a lot of work but totally worth it with when it comes out of the oven browned and toasted with those warm melt-in-your-mouth nuts and, it really kicks off our holidays. Mama Greco went to be with the lord last December so we are really missing her and the special spirit she had, especially this time of year, she really loved Christmas and was such a generous, giving, and loving person. We love you and miss you so very much Mama Greco!!
I am so thrilled to be representing the vintage inspired fashion brand Heart of Haute this holiday season. I am wearing Heart of Haute’s red ‘Monte Carlo’ dress and it is so perfect for a vintage holiday with its beautiful full circle skirt and it is very accommodating to us curvy voluptuous ladies with large busts. Heart of Haute is one of my personal favorite brands, their quality, designs, and fit are appropriate yet feminine enough to wear to work, stand-out stylish for weekends and special occasions too. All the clothing is made in the USA…. how fantastic is that!! If you are not familiar with Heart of Haute spend a little time browsing their website and I am sure you will find beautiful dresses, skirts, tops and sweaters that you will need in your wardrobe and these will become wardrobe staples. If you are already a devoted Heart of Haute customer or shall we say #HauteHoney, then you understand exactly what I am saying. If your sweetie is creatively trying to find out what you want this Christmas, let them know a Heart of Haute gift card would be greatly appreciated!!
Hope your days leading up to Christmas are full of laughter, joy and cheer!!
