Wine enthusiasts, listen up! Napa Valley, Northern California’s world-renowned wine haven, is calling your name, and there’s no better time to answer that call than during the fabulous fall season! As the grape leaves turn to a symphony of autumn hues, Napa Valley transforms into an enchanting wonderland that’s perfect for wine lovers and nature enthusiasts alike. Let’s explore why fall is the ultimate season for experiencing the true essence of Napa Valley’s charm.

The Weather is Perfect!! One of the best things about Napa Valley in the fall is the weather. During the summer months, it can get quite hot in Napa Valley. However, temperatures start to cool down in September and October, making it the perfect time to visit if you want to enjoy comfortable weather.

Another great thing about visiting Napa Valley in the fall is that you’ll get to see the leaves changing color. The vineyards and wineries are especially beautiful during this time of year as the leaves turn from green to shades of red and orange.

If you’re looking to avoid crowds, then fall is also a great time to visit Napa Valley. While the region does get busy during harvest season (which typically runs from August through October), things start to calm down again once November rolls around. So if you want to experience Napa Valley without all the crowds, plan your trip for sometime between November and March.

From the perfect weather to the stunning scenery, there’s something for everyone to enjoy during a fall trip to Napa Valley. Bring you camera to capture all the beauty!! Have you been to Napa Valley in the fall? What was your favorite part?

Fall time in Napa Valley

Harvest season is just about over here in Northern California and the beautiful Napa Valley. The vineyards are beautiful this time of year and I wanted to visit and do a photoshoot with all the glorious fall foliage. For this shoot I am wearing my stunning Oktober 50’s Dress by Hell Bunny as it is literally perfect for Autumn and the harvest season.

The fit of the Oktober 50’s Dress is amazing. It zips up the back, has 2 very deep pockets, pleats on the full circle skirt and the bodice; it is gorgeous with the faux wrap top and under bust seams with delicate gathers that enhance my feminine shape. I am wearing my standard 2XL Hell Bunny size and the dress fits perfectly. I love the faux wrap top made from two overlapping fabric panels as this dress style easily accommodates an ample bust. This lovely dress is available in up to size 4XL.

🍎Perfect in Plaid at the Pumpkin Patch and Apple Picking🍎

Yasmina Greco Apple Picking Fall Sonoma County

Every year I look forward to a visit to Hale’s Apple Farm pumpkin patch and with everything 2020 has brought us, I looked forward to that visit more than ever. The patch is adorable and even some spooky fellows, also has an adjoining orchard so apple picking was also on the schedule.

I wore this lovely red plaid dress from Collectif Clothing and was so comfortable on this cooler Autumn day. The dress has a full swing skirt, pockets, a vintage style boat neckline and princess seams. I could twirl in this red check beauty all day!!  After all the wildfire scares in California, it was amazing to spend a day with my hubby Gary in the fresh air and surrounded by Autumn.

There were lots of families and children visiting the pumpkin patch and everyone socially distanced and wore masks. It was so fun being amongst people rather than seeing them on Zoom meetings all day and we could all enjoy the seasonal activities of Autumn.

Apple picking was next on the list and boy oh boy did they smell sweet and yummy!! I couldn’t find my basket so I opted for my vintage Cathrineholm lotus bowl that held many more apples than I thought it would. I’m thinking of making some apple strudel or apple crumble to use up the apples.

Lots more Autumn, Halloween, and other goodies are on the way to the blog…. And the holidays are coming too!!
