Memorial Day weekend was a scorcher here in California. We were excited for the sunshine and the opportunity to go outside and shoot some photos of this gorgeous dress – Heidi Vintage Style A-Line Dress in Black and White Floral by Pinup Couture. This is the perfect summer dress and would be so pretty to wear to dinner or even a wedding.

My hubby Gary and I drove up to a local wine country town that is usually a tourist destination especially for holidays unsure if we would be able to take photos. We had our masks, were distancing and sanitizer was in our bag. The town wasn’t too busy as nearly all shops and restaurants are still closed and folks are staying home. The park had a good amount of folks picnicking and enjoying being outside with friends. Everyone was social distancing and we felt comfortable walking around and enjoying the day.

This is my very first Heidi dress style and I am wearing my standard 2XL size. The fit is perfection, hugs my curves in all the right places, has such a beautiful black and white floral print, the sweetheart neckline is feminine and flattering for a large bust and the dress is so comfortable. The fabric is gorgeous and luxurious cotton sateen. I am wearing a petticoat underneath for added volume.  It has pockets too!! I don’t usually wear black as I love bright colors but the black and white floral print is so elegant and classic but it really works on my coloring. I also had my sun hat and it matched perfectly with my dress. My pink purse added a pop of color.

We had so much fun shooting these photos. It was a gorgeous day, hot and sunny and it felt incredible to be all dressed up and spending a little time outside. A big thank you to my hubby Gary for taking all these gorgeous photos.
