Being a “wrap dress” expert, today I am introducing you to a brand new brand here at Crazy4Me and they are called Eloquii. As most of my longtime readers know my favorite dress style is the wrap. I love wrap style dresses because they are a curvy and busty gals best friend. They enhance your waist and flatter your figure. Today I am going to tell you all about the Petal Pusher Wrap Dress with Layered Skirt from Eloquii.

Eloquii is a brand that carries stylish clothing in sizes 14-28. Having seen a beautiful polka dot dress on social media I went to the Eloquii website and that is when I started to see so many wonderful prints and colors and styles of clothing. Everything from dresses, skirts, blazers, slacks, tops, casual, business wear and more was on this site. I then saw this glorious shade of green and it turned out to be a wrap dress and the print is Petal Pusher. The dress has a layered skirt with ruffled sleeves and skirt. The style looked so feminine and vibrant and I knew I needed it to start Spring with.

Lindybop Corinna Dachshund Print Swing Dress

Hello sunshine!! It has been raining so much here in California that the minute it stopped hubby and I ran outside to snap some pics in this absolutely adorable dress “Corinna” Dachshund Print Swing Dress from Lindybop.

This was my first Corinna style and I loved the adorable print of Dachshunds and flowers. The dress had a bit of a homespun look with the mint colored rickrack and Dachshund patch pockets making it that much more adorable. The fabric is so light (97% Cotton 3% Elastane) with some stretch that this will be a go-to summer dress for sure. I also love the button detailing on the bust. I really like the smocked elasticated back that vintage style summer dresses have. The full skirt is fantastic so you can wear a petticoat if you want for additional fluff and I am wearing one in these pics.

Perfectly Pinup Purses – Lola Von Rose

These are the prettiest vintage style purses and they are by Lola Von Rose. When I first saw the Lola Von Rose purses it was the shape that immediately caught my attention followed by the fabulous colors. Lola Von Rose makes these vintage inspired handbags that are so reminiscent from yesteryear’s Lucite and Bakelite box bags.

Lets talk about the lovely style of these purses; they have the most elegant and dainty shape that is curvy all the way around. A very sturdy horse-shoe shaped handle and secure latch closure. The shiny acrylic has so much brilliant color! I am holding the pretty pink purse and the color is a bright and brilliant bubble gum pink.

Let’s now talk about capacity and how much this pretty purse can actually hold. Here is a picture from the other day and you can see inside that I have my wallet, keys, lipsticks and compact. My large iPhone 7 Plus fits too as do my sunglasses! And, there is still room to add even more items. The purse latches incredibly securely so do not worry about it opening up and your goodies spilling out. In fact, even filled with my items, the purse is still very lightweight.

How to Bead a Vintage Purse

I found a neat project for beading a vintage purse.  You can get all the details and instructions HERE
 Materials and Tools:
seed beads
nylon thread
wooden loom
satin or other good-quality fabric for lining
beading needle
scissors
Steps:
1. String the loom with nylon thread.
2. Create beaded fabric by stringing the beads onto the loom with the nylon thread.
3. Cut the beaded fabric off the loom, tie off the loose strings and sew the fabric onto the fabric purse lining.
4. Fold the purse over onto itself to create the shape of the purse, and sew the sides shut.
5. Make a strap of any length on the loom, using the same technique used to make the beaded fabric.
6. Sew the strap onto the purse.
