Everyone recognizes the Peanuts gang created by Charles M. Schulz back in the 1950’s in a cartoon comic strip. The beloved Peanuts gang of characters are Charlie Brown and his dog Snoopy, Lucy, Linus, Peppermint Patty, Sally, Schroeder, Marcie, Woodstock, Pig Pen, and Franklin. Audiences love the Peanuts gang because they are so relatable. Everyone enjoys the movies and television shows the Peanuts gang appeared in that entertained so many of us.
When we learned that we’d be partnering with Erstwilder for their final collection of 2020 and that it was with Peanuts, we were thrilled and super excited. Planning the photoshoot happened immediately and we knew it would have to take place at the Charles M. Schulz museum as it represents all things Peanuts.
Well, with COVID-19 restrictions in place and now a second lockdown in California, the museum was closed as were other exhibits on the property but there were still some sculptures and sets we could have some fun with and showcase the fabulous Peanuts collection from Erstwilder.
I am wearing the Snoopy brooch here that is so easy to wear you can pair it with any tops, coats, sweaters or dresses. We found Snoopy and his doghouse at the Charles Schulz museum.
I love this Charlie Brown and Kite necklace. I love kites and had so much fun as a kid watching all the kites that would fly at the beach. Erstwilder’s necklace of Charlie Brown flying his kite is incredibly well made and very high quality. I appreciate that Erstwilder necklaces are adjustable so they can comfortably be worn.
And the Charlie Brown brooch I am wearing here is perfectly modeled and resembles the Charlie Brown character I grew up watching on television.
If you have read my other posts about Erstwilder collections then I don’t need to remind you how quickly they sell out and, since Peanuts is the final collection of 2020, you’d best rush over to the website and snap up what is left!!
And, for those of you who may be planning a future trip to San Francisco, CA, and are looking for a neat day trip to take, head over to wine country Santa Rosa and visit the Charles M. Schulz museum and experience the Peanuts gang. You will find Snoopy’s Warm Puppy Cafe, Snoopy’s Home on Ice skating rink, Snoopy’s Gallery and Gift Shop where there are murals decorating the walls throughout. Of course you can visit the museum to learn about Schulz’s life, see lots of his art and comic strips, watch films and even they even offer online courses.
A big thank you to my sweet hubby Gary for a super photoshoot and for taking all these great pictures.
