I love all things Gingerbread. I have also collected all things gingerbread for years and have many decorations, plush items, and clothing, wall plaques and more. I was over the moon excited when I saw that Lady V of London had come out with a limited edition Gingerbread Lyra dress for the holiday season and Too Faced cosmetics also came out with a limited edition Extra Spicy Gingerbread Eye Shadow palette with the most adorable packaging. This was going to be a very sweet festive season for sure!!
My Lyra dress arrived and if you have been following me you know how much I love the Lyra dresses from Lady V because they are wrap dresses and wrap dresses are a busty gals best friend. Lyra dresses also have some stretch and the fabric really never wrinkles and Lady Voluptuous is size inclusive and goes up to UK 32. The print is so sweet with adorable gingerbread cookies, candy canes, cups of hot cocoa, treats and holly. It’s the perfect dress to wear for Christmas. I am wearing my standard size UK 18 and it fits perfectly. I tied the belt to the front side and styled it very simply with only a petticoat underneath and my new Regina Classic Mary Jane inspired shoes from Bait Footwear and a Gingerbread hair clip. You could easily add a red or green cardigan and some boots to spice up the outfit and be holiday ready.
I used the limited edition Too Faced Extra Spicy Gingerbread Eye Shadow Palette on my eyes and cheeks. It is an eye shadow palette and has some beautiful colors that look great as blush. The palette also smells like Gingerbread!! Too Faced has some of the most fabulous products on the market and their packaging is the ultimate!! I am in love with the Extra Spicy palette and all their Christmas limited edition palettes, I may need to do a blog post all about my favorite holiday makeup.
