It was 90 degrees just the other day and BAM, Fall is really here!! It has turned 30 degrees chillier and been raining for the past 24hrs, this is the most welcome sight for us folks living in drought stricken northern California. The mornings have been in the low 30s-50s and I finally got to break out my green Pearl coat from Collectif UK. The Pearl Coat is also available here at Top Vintage.
I bought this coat back at the end of Spring and was fortunate that it was at an incredibly reduced price and although it has sat in my closet for many, many months, waiting for the weather to cool down, today was the day. The coat comes in green, navy blue and camel. The coat is exactly as the website describes it ‘ A Show Stopper’, Featuring pretty pleating detail to nip in the waist and add fullness to the skirt. The Pearl is a long, luxurious number that is sure to turn heads! With high quality faux fur trim to the cuffs and hem along with a thick collar in matching faux fur’ I felt like a glamor girl wearing it today, my co-workers were speechless. The coat is soft, luxurious, and warm. I’ll post a pic of myself wearing it shortly.
As I have been planning my Fall/Winter wardrobe over the past few months when I saw the Collectif Fall / Autumn look book and spotted the ‘Chrissie Deer Jumper in Brown’. The jumper became available for purchase a couple weeks ago and when I went to buy it, I saw the most amazing thing…. the Chrissie Deer Jumper also came in Blue, yippee for me!! Colectiff is in the UK and I am in California, shipping is usually very quick within a week or so. The jumpers are so lovely and soft. Mind you, they do not have a lot of stretch and if you are a well-endowed women like I am, make very certain you measure correctly and order the right size….. the size I ordered is a bit tight around my breasts so I am hoping with a little more low-carbing I will be wearing my lovely jumpers in the next couple weeks. I have to say the blue color is gorgeous, looks so much more incredible in person. I promise to post some pics shortly of me wearing these jumpers.
I’ve got lots of exciting projects in the works and will share shortly.
