Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

retro-pink-aluminum-christmas-treeChristmas is here!! After all the dreaming, decorating, and planning, Christmas is finally here. I have always admired the charming vintage Christmas collectibles from the 1930s – 1950s, Santa’s, vintage Made in Japan Putz glitter houses, vintage Made in Japan bottle brush trees and wreaths, NOEL candle holders, tablecloths, tea towels, Shiny Brite ornaments and mercury glass, to the vintage Holt Howard, Napco, and Lefton Christmas items from figurines, candy cane kids, and headvases. This year, my twin sister and I finally started our own vintage Christmas collection. We are now the proud collectors of bottle brush trees and wreaths, vintage Christmas figurines and Christmas shopper girls, NOEL candleholder sets, Putz houses, felt stockings, knee hugger elves, spun cotton snowman and Santa’s and a few additional goodies too!! I look forward to growing our vintage Christmas collection together.

I am spending this Christmas with my beloved husband and my adorable powder-puff Bichon Frise- Luna. I recently returned from Portland, Oregon where I spent a week with family and sadly came down with a horrible flu…..that continues to hang-on as I approach day 8 of this illness. To my many blog readers and supporters; I wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas filled with the love and joy of family and friends and a stellar 2014!!
