Antiques Roadshow Highest EVER Appraisal

Hi everyone, in case you missed it you can watch it here. A Tulsa man identifying himself only as “Doug” appeared on NBC’s The Today Show, Friday, July 29, 2011 in a brief segment this morning displaying his collection of late 17th to early-18th century Chinese carved rhinoceros horn cups and bowls that he had recently appraised by his visit to the Tulsa, July 23, 2011 taping of Antiques Roadshow of between $1 million and $1.5 million, the highest valuation to date in the Antiques Roadshows history.  Doug has been collecting rhinoceros carvings since the 1970s and purchased one of the rare 17th to early-18th century Chinese carved rhinoceros horn bowls in Bath, England.  You can watch the Youtube video here  ANTIQUES ROADSHOW | ROADSHOW\’s Record-Breaking Find! | PBS /.
