Hello again my friends, I hope you all had a marvelous Christmas and that Santa was good to you all!! As I put the finishing touches on post number six, the final post of our Vintage Christmas Collecting series, it’s New Year’s Eve as I sit at my desk surrounded by my vintage treasures (vintage Santa’s, snowmen, shopper girls, bottle brush trees and my vintage candy cane holders) and want to thank you all for your lovely comments and questions along the way of the collecting series.

I have truly enjoyed putting the series together and hope you’ve benefited from some of my tips and enjoyed seeing pictures of my collections. I wish you all a Happy New Year and hope that 2021 is good to us all!!

Pinterest at Night – Collectibles and More

Pinterest is a very entertaining website to visit when you are up in the middle of the night. Lots of things to pin, re-pin, and like. We have been caring for our dad who has fallen very ill and taking turns on the ‘night shift’. Staying awake between 2am-4am has been very challenging and Pinterest has actually helped in that it keeps my mind busy with so many pin boards. It is always fun too to see how many people like and re-pin your pins….kinda validates the cooky item you think is cool also appeals to someone else…so you are not that cooky. Here are some of my favorite pin boards so far.

Using Pinterest on eBay – Pinning Your Treasures

With even more changes effecting Sellers coming to eBay, I did find a section on the eBay website I didn’t know about before called “eBay Stories” and there are some good and motivating stories there from ‘regular sellers’ that are featured. I thought this was a pretty good article as there are still lots of folks that haven’t heard of Pinterest nor are “pinners’ so this article here for using Pinterest & eBay will explain a lot. I do also suppose it could apply to Etsy 🙂

Pinterest For The Things You Love

Hi everyone. It has been a while since I posted here but I have been recovering from a major shoulder injury and have been in so much pain and out of commission. I wanted to let my beloved blog followers know I am starting on the road to recovery so hopefully in the coming weeks I will be back at my favorite flea markets, antique and collectibles shops. I do need to sincerely thank my wonderful husband for taking such good care of me through all the tears, sleepless nights and multiple trips to the doctors and filling my many prescriptions. While cooped up at home I have discovered Pinterest wich is a virtual online web-based website that allows members to post up or pinup the things they love and share it with their friends, family, and the world. Lots of “eye candy” on Pinterest!! My Crazy4MePinterest page is a work in progress right now as I can’t yet use my arm to type so my dear husband has been helping me and it now to a point that I can share it with you all. Hope your 2012 is off to a great start!!
