The Cheesecake Factory’s Flatbread Pizzas: A Foodie’s Dream

The Cheesecake Factory Flatbread Pizza

If you’re a foodie visiting the Bay Area, you’ll undoubtedly want to check out The Cheesecake Factory just outside San Francisco. This iconic restaurant chain has been serving up their unique take on this Italian classic for years, and it’s definitely worth a try! But what exactly is so special about their pizza? Keep reading for my review!

Today, my final pizza review of 2021 comes to an end as I am eating the flatbread pizza from The Cheesecake Factory. This is a restaurant chain that has an incredibly vast menu of appetizers, salads, glamburgers, pastas and pizzas and so much more.

Hubby and I stopped at The Cheesecake Factory right before New Year’s Eve. I love visiting this restaurant because it has a really great ambiance with their mosaics, palm trees, almost Greco-Roman design, and Egyptian columns. You really have to see it to appreciate it. The feeling inside is of a higher-end premium scale eatery chain where ‘denim and diamonds’ and designer handbags are the norm.

We were pretty hungry once we were seated and flipped right to the lunch section of the menu. We saw a great Flatbread Pizza section and decided on the pepperoni pizza and ordered Caesar salads. Lunch came very quickly and the flatbread pizzas were served on wooden boards and cut into squares. I have to say this flatbread pizza was delicious!! The crust was crispy with a great chew, the sauce was tasty and tangy, and the pepperoni is the kind that is “cup and char” where it curls up and chars a bit for optimum flavor (also known as roni cups) and the cheese was ooey-gooey parmesan/mozzarella and everything you’d want it to be. The cesar salad was perfect with very crispy lettuce that was perfectly coated in not too much dressing and buttery crispy croutons. We enjoyed a post holiday pre-New Year’s Eve delicious lunch.

Let’s rate The Cheesecake Factory on a scale of 1 (being lowest) to 5 (being highest):

Style/Crust : Oven baked pizza – 4.5

Sauce: Tangy red sauce –  4.5

Toppings: 5

Taste: 5

Presentation: 5

Location/Staff: 5 (service was great, staff was very attentive)

If you’ve ever had a flatbread pizza, or if you love pepperoni and ronis cups (the kind that curls up!), then this is the flatbread pizza for you. The crust was crispy with a great chew, the sauce was tasty and tangy, and the cheese melted ooey-gooey into all of it to make one delicious flatbread pie. Do YOU like flatbread pizza? What are YOUR favorite toppings? Let’s chat about what makes these pizzas taste SO good!!

A big thank you to everyone that has joined along and followed our pizza-eating journey in San Francisco this past year. We did review several pizzerias but didn’t get to nearly as many as we had planned on at the start of the year because of Covid and all the restrictions that went along with it this year. We will continue the pizza tour in 2022 and can’t wait to share the continuing journey with our devoted readers and supporters. Thank you all so very much!! Wishing you a happy, healthy, and safe New Year 2022 filled with only the BEST pizza (and all the wonderful joys life will bring).
