I am so excited to be reviewing a first on my blog; it is this gorgeous Betsey Johnson Vintage Rose Floral Printed Ruffled-Sleeve Dress. Betsey Johnson now carries extended sizes in some of their apparel and I couldn’t be more thrilled. I have been collecting Betsey’s novelty purses for years and now there are dresses I can add to my wardrobe too!!

The print on this fit and flare dress is what immediately caught my eye. It is a pretty island blue color with pink roses. The sleeves are so pretty and feminine with their ruffled details and the dress is a faux wrap so I was pretty sure it would fit my bust. The skirt sits just above the knee, which is a little shorter than I normally go but I am all about trying new styles and thought my legs looked good in it. I ordered per the size chart, which was a 2X. I could have sized down as the dress was very roomy and if you want more of your curves enhanced then definitely size down. The dress zips up the back and has a self-tie bow in the back so you can pull the waist in a bit to accentuate it. The dress is also lined and wears extremely well without much wrinkling.

I found the dress to be very comfortable and perfect for Spring and Summer. It would be perfect for a garden wedding or wearing out to dinner. Add a pretty pink or blue cardigan, necklace and strappy heels and of course your favorite Betsey bag and spritz of your Betsey Pretty N Punkperfume. Yep, I got to try this perfume!! The bottle is lovely with pink bow decoration and smells amazing, sweet and floraly but not too sweet, it really is the perfect fragrance. I styled the dress very simply; I only added pink heels, my pink Betsey camera bag and spritzes of my Pretty N Punk Perfume.
