Aren’t these so Sweet? This is a very rare and extremely hard-to-find pair of vintage 1950s Black Americana “Sweet Heart” salt and pepper shakers made by Shafford. Shakers are of a young girl and young boy and the boy has a “heart” for her. Little girl is so cute with big eyes and long eye lashes and wears a pretty dress with apron over the front and has a red bow in her hair, she has 5 pour holes. Little boy is equally darling with his big eyes and long lashes holding a red heart and he wears green pants with a yellow shirt, and he has 4 pour holes. Shakers are looking at each other sweetly. Shakers measure approx. 4 ¾” inches and retain their cork stoppers and are marked “SHAFFORD, JAPAN”. These shakers are in near mint condition with NO chips, NO cracks, NO damage at all.
