This extremely rare and wonderful Little Black Sambo Riding an Alligator Salt & Pepper Shaker Set measures approx. 3″ high and 4 1/2″ long. Both are stamped with the “Ceramic Arts Studio, Madison, Wisconsin” logo. They are from the 1950′s. Alligator is green and has a rich glaze and 1 pour hole. Sambo has rich coloring glaze and wears yellow shorts and turban with green dots and has 2 pour holes. These are extremely rare! and are highly sought after by collectors! Vintage Black Americana Seal Trainer Salt Pepper Shakers
This is an ORIGINAL not Reproduction pair of vintage Black Americana salt and pepper shakers from the 1950s marked “JAPAN”. Shakers are of a Seal Trainer and his Seal. Trainer is very colorful in his clothing wearing green pants and hat, yellow vest with tie and his dark burgundy purple coat, has his hat tipped and smiles. Seal stands proudly on a dark green and yellow circle box and holds a matching dark burgundy purple ball. Trainer’s hat has 2 pour holes and he measures approx. 3 ½” inches and Seal’s ball has 3 pour holes and Seal measures approx. 3” inches. Black Americana Paye & Baker Sterling Souvenir Spoon Black Memorabilia
This wonderful sterling silver souvenir demitasse spoon is a piece of Black Americana history with a figural handle of a smiling boy in yellow cap and colorful floral handle. The sterling spoon is by Paye & Baker Mfg. c.1910. Down the handle has orange flowers and green leaves. The bowl features a raised image of Jackson Statue in New Orleans. Shakers are of a little girl and boy and the boy has a “heart” for her. This lovely vintage Black Americana towel is in great condition! Image on this very colorful towel is a Mammy lady looking out the window with her hands on her hips wearing a colorful outfit, blue dress with daisy flowers, red apron and hair kerchief. Kitchen windows have colorful floral curtains and on the windows sill are two pies. Under the window sit two small children; a little girl and little boy and the little boy has pie on his hands. You will love these! These are a cute pair of 1950′s Black Americana pottery salt and pepper shaker kettle clowns. These shakers are shaped like kettles and have yellow lids with wire handles; painted clown faces with big eyes, smiles, and red noses and gold hair. Shakers also are footed with 3 feet. One shaker says ‘Salt’ on top and has 2 holes, the other says ‘Pepper’ and has 3 holes. These shakers retain their original cork stoppers. Shakers measure approx. 3” inches x 4″ inches and retain their original “Japan” label, and are marked “©”. These shakers are truly in remarkable condition with no damage, no chips, cracks, crazing or paint loss! This is a set of RARE Luzianne Mammy salt & pepper shakers that were obtained from a private collector and they measure 5″ in height. They are in superb condition with NO chips, cracks or repairs. They are made of molded hard plastic and retain their original stoppers. They do have a tiny bit of minor paint wear. They are marked embossed on the bottom “F & F Mold & Die Works // Dayton Ohio” with a Made in U.S.A.” These shakers were originally an advertising premium for Luzianne Coffee, c.1950′s. Please view the pictures. These shakers are vintage and very special and have been lovingly cared for over 60 years in a collector’s cabinet.

Very Rare Mammy Cook Salt & Pepper Shaker Aunt Jemima Mose
You will love these! These are a pair of Original 1930s-1940s Vintage Black Americana Memorabilia salt and pepper shakers. One is a Mammy and measures approx. 5” inches and she is wearing a white apron with reddish-orange kerchief on her hair and holds a reddish-orange spoon in one hand and the other hand rests on her hip. The other shaker is a Pappy/Chef and measures approx. 5” inches and wears a white apron with reddish-orange hat and holds a reddish-orange spoon in one hand and the other hand rests in his pocket. Both shakers have amazingly detailed faces with very expressive eyes. Both shakers retain their cork stoppers and are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, or damage of any kind. The painting is somewhat crudely done which is typical for these imports. These Were Obtained From a Private Collection
Here it is – The set you have been hunting for! This set here is the “Real Deal” that is so rare to come by. This is the only set we’ve ever seen and not more than a couple people that we know of have ever seen a set of these. These are the rare Aunt Jemima Oil Cloth Dolls featuring Aunt Jemima, Uncle Mose, Diana, and Wade.
The Aunt Jemima doll is 12” inches tall and dressed in a red and white-checkered apron dress with a white kerchief. On her head is a yellow bandanna with red crisscross lines. Written on the bottom of her apron is “Aunt Jemima” with registered trademark symbol. She is holding a piping hot plate of pancakes.
The Uncle Mose doll is 13” inches tall and he is wearing a yellow jacket with blue pin stripe pants with a pocket chain attached to a red vest. He’s wearing a blue bow tie and holding a black top hat.
The Little Diana doll is 9” inches tall and she is wearing a yellow dress with red sash and a square patch of fabric on her dress. Underneath her dress she wears red ruffled panties. Her hands are behind her back.
The Wade doll is 9” inches tall. Wade is wearing a red and white striped shirt and holding a yellow lollipop. He has on blue denim short frayed at the ends with a blue square patch on one side. He has on cute red and white striped socks.
These oil cloth dolls are from a private collection and have been lovingly cared for. These dolls are over 50 years old! All dolls are in great condition, there are no holes, stains, rips or tears that we can see. Aunt Jemima doll is sewn together a bit differently on the bottom than the other dolls, has some very light markings on her apron. The dolls are all stuffed with old cotton batting. The dolls are all very clean looking and come from a smoke free and pet free environment. You will be so Happy with these!!
