It’s the first time I am featuring the brand Trashy Diva on my blog. I have seen their lovely 1940s style dresses many times on social media and thought their designs were gorgeous. I was excited when the opportunity came to review the Victory Floral Blanche dress.
I had long admired the Victory Floral design with its true 1940s style and pattern of navy blue with brilliant florals in stunning golden yellows, lavender, and burgundy red and green colors. I chose the Blanche style, which is a wrap dress, and if you have been reading my blog you know how much I love wrap style dresses. This dress also has great attention to detail in its design with a vintage-style ruffle neckline and tiered A-line shape. The fabric too is exceptional quality being a knit cotton. The dress is incredibly light and comfortable. Also, the colors in the pattern provide so many styling options.
For this blog post I matched my shoes and accessories to the deep red color in the pattern. For my first look I styled the outfit with my red Robbie shoes by Bait Footwear and a red vintage style necklace by Splendette. For my second look I added my red Heart of Haute sweet sweater (a wardrobe staple) and a vintage 40s red wicker purse. I can’t wait to wear this dress with yellow and green cardigans and accessories as the styling options are endless.
The wrap style of this dress is perfect for a curvy figure and you decide how much cleavage you want to show…. I kept this look a little more conservative with only a hint peeking through but still; the style shows a feminine shape beautifully. I will be wearing the Trashy Diva Blanche dress year round; in the winter add a coat and some high boots and you are dressed perfectly!! I am looking forward to featuring Trashy Diva many more times on my blog!!
