LOVE Is In The Air at Antique Mall

Me and my hubby spending my birthday at the antique mall today.  It has been a while since I have been out as I have had to work a lot of long days and weekends …I train CPAs and accountants so there has been lots of new legislation that required lots of hours training folks for the upcoming tax season so that meant NO antique outings or junking for me. But, today was a great day and spending time with my husband at one of my favorite antique malls in Fort Worth on my birthday was the BEST!! Prices seemed high today and although it’s Super Bowl Sunday here in Dallas/Arlington I thought the mall was pretty busy with shoppers though the folks at the register were saying it was slow and the Super Bowl was the reason. We didn’t buy much today but it was sure fun to notice a trend….Lots of Heart-Shaped furniture and Valentine’s Day goodies; vintage Valentine’s Day greeting cards, Cupids, Red and Pink color themed booths, Vintage heart-shaped pillows and sachet’s made from vintage tablecoths and hankies and embroidery, of course the cute vintage 1950s Relpo, Lefton and Norcrest Valentine Planters with the cute girls and their heart dresses and decorations. As a shopper in antqiue malls I enjoy it very much when booths have holiday-themed goodies out for whatever holiday is coming up and some booths even color-theme a small section with all wears or linens being in the holiday theme of the moment. Hope you are all having a great Super Bowl Sunday!
